Example 2 : RNA extraction from Arabidopsis leaves

From Arabidopsis leaves, optimal DNA or RNA with high yield is obtained with Precellys following 2x15s at 5000rpm with precellys lysing kit 03961-1-007

Application on Soil

Extract DNA, RNA, proteins from micro-organisms in Soil. With specific lysing tubes (03961-1-006), soil is reduced into powder and micro-organisms’ walls are lysed to release all genomic materials. After purification, Precellys24 gives higher yield and increase detection limit threshold.
